Captain Lartey, the visionary force behind the inception of Class Energy and Marine Logistics Services Limited (CEML), brings a wealth of experience to the marine and maritime services sector. Having graduated from the Regional Maritime Academy, now known as the Regional Maritime University, Captain Lartey embarked on a career with renowned state-owned and foreign shipping companies. Technologically adept, he is a member of recognized professional maritime bodies.
Having navigated through various roles, starting from Deck Cadet to Master/Captain, Richard has honed his skills across a diverse array of vessels, including General Cargo Ships, Tanker Product Carriers, RoRo Vessels, and Offshore Support Vessels. Beyond his maritime expertise, Captain Lartey is known for his ability to assemble effective teams, whether for projects, church activities, or business endeavors, underscoring his leadership of the A team at CEML. His leisure pursuits encompass swimming, chess, volleyball, and table tennis.
Among his myriad achievements is the noteworthy accomplishment of chairing a committee that played a pivotal role in establishing the Ghana Maritime Authority in 1998.
